Ianusa is a premium, extra virgin, organic olive oil from Sicily.
Its taste expresses the harsh terrain of the Sicilian hinterland. The olives for this oil are harvested in the first half of October and cold-ground in a continuous-cycle mill, then left to decant.
Iannusa - Olio Intenso - Bio is rich in earthy and vegetable scents, in which the scent of thistle stands out.
In its style, we wanted to pay homage to the mythological figure of the gorgon: Medusa.
In addition, this oil has subtle bitter notes, sensations of green and ripe apple, freshly cut grass, green almonds and tomato leaves or overripe tomatoes.
In this olive oil, we use to produce two versions: One classic and one organic. In the classic, we use Moresca and Nocellara dell'Etna olives; while in the organic, we use entirely a monocultivar of Moresca olives.
This extra virgin olive oil is rich in polyphenols and is therefore a healthy food with many health benefits. The degree of bitterness and spiciness present in this oil can vary depending on the degree of veraison of the fruit, but there is a slight sensation of sweetness that balances everything out.
We recommend combining it in the kitchen, it is suitable for raw or cooked foods, for frying or desserts, for seasoning salads, first or second courses of both meat, fish or vegetables. Ideal with trapezium stew.

Delivery conditions
The products are delivered by the seller, directly to the buyer's home or the address specified by him, and is insured by the express courier company DPD courier.
The shipping fee is RON 16. Any subsequent changes will be posted on the site.
The option to send with another courier company is possible for an additional fee but not exceeding 25 lei.
The order for products in stock will be shipped within 12-24 hours (on business days) from the order confirmation, via email. Usually the order reaches you within a maximum of 2 business days from the date of confirmation. Depending on the supplier, this term may vary in circumstances beyond our control, without exceeding a term of 6 business days, calculated from the date of receipt of your order.
Orders containing pre-order products are delivered in 4-5 business days unless otherwise announced on the site.
The order will be shipped in packaging that ensures transport security. The responsibility for any damage caused during the transport of the product, parcel or package sent by us lies with the carrier according to the local legislation in force.
Return conditions
You can request the return of products in the following cases:
- The product delivered does not meet the specifications on the site. You can request its return for replacement or full refund (if the product is no longer available).
- Non-functional/damaged product within the first 48 hours of receipt. If the purchased product was delivered non-functional or has manufacturing defects, it will be replaced with a functional product, following written notification within 48 hours of receipt of the product. We recommend that the verification/testing of the ordered products be done within 48 hours. Any subsequent complaint will not be taken into account.
- Product in damaged package. For products whose packages show visible damage upon receipt by courier, we recommend that you refuse their receipt. For evidence, the package can be photographed and a report can be drawn up together with the courier company representative stating the condition of the package at the time of delivery. The risk of loss or damage to the products is fully transferred to you when you take physical possession of the product. Any subsequent complaint will not be taken into account. In the event that a carrier appointed by the consumer is used, the risk is transferred at the time of delivery of the products to the carrier.
- Wrongly delivered products . If a different product than the one ordered was delivered.
